The Oregon Area Fire/EMS District (OAFED) is seeking proposals from professional architectural, engineering, and similarly qualified firms to conduct a comprehensive space needs analysis for a Fire/EMS facility designed to serve the District for the next 25–30 years.
OAFED serves the Village of Oregon and the Towns of Oregon, Dunn, and Rutland. In 2023, the District responded to 1,759 service calls, including:
OAFED employs 63 personnel, including full-time, part-time, paid-on-call/paid-on-premise operational staff, interns, and students.
The existing Fire/EMS facility, located in Downtown Oregon, faces significant challenges due to community growth, limited space, and infrastructure constraints.
