The Oregon Area Fire/EMS District (OAFED) is seeking proposals from professional architectural, engineering, and similarly qualified firms to conduct a comprehensive space needs analysis for a Fire/EMS facility designed to serve the District for the next 25–30 years.

About OAFED:

OAFED serves the Village of Oregon and the Towns of Oregon, Dunn, and Rutland. In 2023, the District responded to 1,759 service calls, including:

  • 1,280 EMS calls
  • 479 Fire calls

OAFED employs 63 personnel, including full-time, part-time, paid-on-call/paid-on-premise operational staff, interns, and students.

Project Background:

The existing Fire/EMS facility, located in Downtown Oregon, faces significant challenges due to community growth, limited space, and infrastructure constraints. This space needs analysis will address these challenges and provide actionable recommendations to support the District’s operations for decades to come. To review the entire RFP, click here.
