Fire Lieutenant (Part-Time)

The Oregon Area Fire/EMS District (OAFED) is actively seeking experienced firefighters to join our Officer staff at the rank of Lieutenant. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced individual to grow and excel in a leadership role.

As a Fire Lieutenant, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring the men and women of the OAFED. You will work closely within the department’s Chain of Command to meet organizational objectives and uphold the highest standards of service to our community. This position is ideal for a team-oriented leader who is passionate about teaching, training, and inspiring others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fulfill monthly staffing requirements (per the job description)
  • Village Resident 24 hours per month
  • Non-Village Resident 48 hours per month
• Attend and participate in monthly training sessions
• Assist with administrative duties as needed
• Lead by example and serve as a mentor to the fire/EMS service team
